STEP 1 - PREP YOUR SKIN
Prep is key, always. Grab your favourite moisturiser, serum, facial oil or sheet mask (for an extra bougie experience)! Apply your skincare product on your face and neck. This step will help your skin reap the benefits of your skincare product - the jade roller is notorious for helping with product penetration.
STEP 2 - YOUR NECK IS THE PLACE TO START
Place the large barrel of the jade roller at the base of your neck. Gently, but firmly, roll the jade roller up your neck, taking it up and out at your jawline. Repeat this motion 3 - 5 times and work your way around your neck.
STEP 3 - WHERE THE JADE ROLLER MEETS THE FACE
Starting at the centre bottom part of your face, run the large barrel of the jade roller along your jawline. Be gentle, but firm and move upwards and outwards. Repeat this step 3 - 5 times on each side of your face. Once you’ve used your jade roller along your jawline, repeat the upward and outward motion on your cheeks and cheekbones, 3 - 5 times per section and on each side of your face.
STEP 4 - DON’T FORGET THE UNDEREYE AREA
Your puffy eyes will thank you for this step! Place the small barrel of the jade roller under your eye at the centre of your face. Run the jade roller along your under eye area in an upward and outward motion. As always, be gentle but firm, and repeat this step 3 - 5 times on both sides of your face.
STEP 5 - SHOW YOUR FOREHEAD SOME LOVE
Your forehead will be looking snatched, all thanks to the jade roller. Place the large barrel of your jade roller at the base of your forehead. Gently, but firmly, glide it up towards your hairline. Repeat this step 3 - 5 times, and on the left and right sides of your forehead. For some extra TLC, place the large barrel of your jade roller sideways in the middle of your forehead. Slowly roll your jade roller out towards your temple. Repeat 3 - 5 times.
